Its establishment in 2002, alongside the primary branches, has been geared towards equipping students with a sound footing in fundamental sciences and humanities.
Dr M.A. Salim, a seasoned academician, is at the helm of the Department of Basic Science and Humanities, leading a team of qualified faculty members from the disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, and Humanities. Currently, the department has nine highly dedicated faculty members who are always willing to take on any responsibility entrusted to them. The Department of Basic Science and Humanities has further bolstered our focus on providing a comprehensive and holistic education to our students. A cohesive integration of sciences and humanities is a prerequisite for developing well-rounded individuals, who can navigate the challenges of the modern-day world.
