Research Council is an essential component of the institution to create and sustain an environment for sustainable thinking among students and faculty. The main aim is to promote quality research among the faculty members of the institution.

Research council has been constituted with the Principal as the Chairman and Dean (Research) as the Convener. Research council has members from all the departments. The council provides guidance to research scholars /Ph.D holders for getting funded projects. The Dean (Research) coordinates all research activities of the institute and research based product development.

Objectives

The main objective of the Research Council is to address social, industrial and environmental challenges through interdisciplinary research.

The objectives includes

• Motivating faculty for doctoral programme at various universities and reputed organization.
• Promoting faculties to publish or patent filing of B. Tech final year projects and Mini Projects. 
• Translating the knowledge and innovative thinking of faculty and student into new product.
• Encouraging faculty towards consultancy and extension activities.
• Promoting analytical and experimental research.
• Ensuring the originality of the research by adhering the standards of ethical committee.
• Encouraging collaborative research by networking with industries and research institutes.
• Motivating the faculty to undertake state, national and international funded projects.
