Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)

The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) programme at TKM Institute of Technology, launched in 2023, is a comprehensive course designed to  prepare students for the rapidly evolving tech landscape, with a focus on the core principles of computer science integrated with advanced AI and machine learning methodologies. The program admits 60 students annually, offering a comprehensive curriculum that merges traditional computing with next-generation intelligent systems.

Curriculum and Course Structure

The curriculum is strategically developed to offer a balanced mix of fundamental computer science education and advanced learning in AI and machine learning, ensuring students are industry-ready.

Key Areas of Study:

  • Core Computer Science: Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Database Management Systems, Object-Oriented Programming, and Software Engineering.

  • Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: Foundations of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and AI in IoT.

  • Mathematics and Statistics: Linear Algebra, Probability Theory, Statistics, Calculus, and Discrete Mathematics – essential for modeling and understanding complex AI/ML systems.

  • Programming and Development: Hands-on training in Python, Java, R, and C++, along with exposure to ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn.
