Dr. Jewel Ann Joseph

I joined TKMIT with the intention of building a career in Food Technology, but the four years I spent there from 2008 to 2012 gave me much more than an academic qualification. They were the years in which I nourished my interest in food science, learned to think beyond what was taught in textbooks, and started finding my own direction. The Department of Food Technology gave me a strong foundation that has stayed with me throughout my career. The practical sessions, projects, discussions with teachers, and the everyday experiences of college life all played a part in moulding how I tackle problems and learn new things. TKMIT will always be an important part of my journey, and I am genuinely happy to see the Food Technology department continuing to build the careers of the next generation of students.
