Within a short span of four years, the library has shown dynamic growth by becoming state-of-the-art library in the field of engineering education.The library is housed on a two-storied building, which is spread over 10,000sq.ft.The library includes a good number of books in the field of engineering and allied subjects and it also has an impressive collection of leading national and international periodicals including the IEEE publications.The centre aims to facilitate acquisition and dissemination of information and knowledge in all areas of engineering education among the academic community.

All technical journals are arranged alphabetically in this section.
Books meant for borrowing are kept in this section. Books are classified and arranged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification System.
Library is full computerised with LAN operating on specialized library software, SOUL V1.0(Software for University Libraries).The user – friendly package facilities Automated issue-return of books, online access to catalogue and renewal and reservation of books.The library has adopted the modern information technologies like CDs, DVDs, Barcode scanner and so on.
Net savvy users can browse the Internet by paying nominal charges. Facilitates access to online journals and printing facility.
Institute is a member of the IEEE students’ branch library: through this membership the Institute is receiving 41 IEEE publications, which includes 33 magazines and 8 journals in the field of Electronics, Electrical, Computer and Management Access to these publications is free for IEEE members, for others membership is required.
Library works Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm. Library is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
