What Our Students Say
Harinandan Rajkishor (2017-21)
Manufacturing Controls engineer ( Model Y Castings ) Tesla motors, CA , USA
Studying mechanical engineering at TKM Institute of Technology (Batch 2017-2021) gave me a strong foundation in mechanical and manufacturing engineering. Hands-on lab experience taught me real-world manufacturing processes, while the guidance of experienced faculties deepened my understanding. I’m proud to say that what I learned at TKMIT played a key role in shaping my career.
Reshma R (2015-19 batch)
Project Coordinator Trouvay & Cauvin Group
My time at TKM Institute of Technology played a pivotal role in shaping my professional career. The amazing academic foundation in mechanical engineering helped me build critical problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of engineering principles, which have been essential in my current role as a Project Coordinator at Trouvay & Cauvin Group. Beyond academics, my involvement during our final year arts festival and stage performances during the Onam celebrations at TKMIT gave me hands-on experience in event management, teamwork, and leadership. These experiences taught me how to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, communicate effectively with diverse teams, and ensure smooth execution under pressure—all of which are directly applicable to my role in project coordination today. TKMIT's faculty provided not only in-depth technical knowledge but also teach us the importance of effective communication, time management, and teamwork – skills I use every day in coordinating complex projects. Overall, the education and experiences at TKM laid the groundwork for my growth in the industry and continue to guide me as I advance in my career.
Ramasubbiah S, Mechanical Engineering (2012-2016)
Sales & Marketing (MENA region), DURO DYNE CORP.
I am grateful to the Mechanical Engineering Department at TKMIT for providing a strong foundation in both technical and personal development. The dedicated faculty, with their vast experience, helped me enhance my engineering skills. As a Founding Member of the Association of Mechanical Engineers TKMIT, I also had the opportunity to develop leadership skills through organizing the annual Technical Fest. These experiences have been instrumental in shaping my career. Today, as the Regional Manager for Sales & Marketing at DURO DYNE CORP., I continue to benefit from the lessons learned during my time at TKMIT.
ABHINAND M J (2018-22 batch)
Pilot – Indian Coast Guard
My time at TKM Institute of Technology laid the foundation for my journey as a military pilot. The rigorous academic curriculum, combined with the values of discipline and perseverance instilled by the faculty, helped shape me into a responsible engineer and aviator. The problem-solving skills and technical knowledge I gained during my Mechanical Engineering studies continue to support me in the high-stakes world of aviation. I am proud to be an alumnus of TKMIT and grateful for the role it played in my career.
