ARTS FESTIVAL

REGALIA 2022

Regalia’22, the two-day techno cultural fest of TKM Institute of Technology was held on 20th and 21st of May 2022. The art fest made a comeback after a long interlude due to the Covid-19 circumstances and restrictions
with much vigour and joy for the students and faculty of TKMIT.

Besides the main events, Regalia’22 was packed with several minor programs and competitions which were held in the previous days as per a well formulated itinerary. The competitions and events included drawing, painting, reuse, reduce & recycle, film review, Ludo, digital painting, story English, story Malayalam, treasure hunt, face painting, football 3’s, poetry English, poetry Malayalam, mehndi design, idea pitching, PES and BGMI. The registration and other pre requirements of the programs were completed before the onset of those events. Several students enrolled themselves to participate in the events.

REGALIA 2020

The TKM IT Arts fest Celebration, Regalia was scheduled on 20th and 21st of March 2020. Based on the Government order to ban gatherings considering the outburst of Corona virus (Covid-19), the programme was cancelled.

Regalia 2019 (29th & 30th  April)

            The TKMIT Arts fest Celebrations ,Regalia were held on the 29 th and 30th  of April 2019. The inauguration was held at the college Main Auditorium around 10:00 am, The welcome speech was delivered by Mr.Jude James,Chairman college Senate and the presidential address was delivered by the Principal, Dr.P Mohamed Shameem. Mr Dhruvan cine artist inaugurated the event and delivered the inaugural speech ,which was followed by felicitation by Dr. S Suresh, the Dean and Mr Razeek A Senate Advisor.Finally MrFebin C,Arts Club Secretary  expressed the Vote of thanks.

Regalia 2018 (23rd & 24th  March)

             The TKMIT Arts fest Celebrations ,Regalia were held on the 23rd and 24th  of March 2018. The inauguration was held at the college Main Auditorium around 10:00 am, The welcome speech was delivered by Mr.Ribin P Thomas and the presidential address was delivered by the Principal, Dr.P Mohamed Shameem in the presence of Chief guest,Dean,Department heads, teaching and non-teaching staffs and the students of TKMIT. Chief guest Mr Adil Ibrahim cine artist inaugurated the event and delivered the inaugural speech ,which was followed by felicitation by Prof K Madhusoodanan Pillai, the Dean .Finally Mr. Allwyn Benny  expressed the Vote of thanks.

The programs included:

• Regalia started off with the flash mob organized by the final year students within the college campus in front of the administrative building on 19/03/2018 at 3:30PM.
• Off stage events started on 20/03/2018 and continued till 22/03/2018 , The  following events were conducted as per the schedule sanctioned by the Arts committee constituted by the college council.Off stage events

TKMIT Regalia celebration 2018 turned out to be a great success with the active participation of both staffs and students of TKMIT. The events were conducted as per the schedule sanctioned by the Arts committee constituted by the college council.

The Arts festival for the academic year 2006-2007 ‘FETE- 07’ was held in the college campus from March 31- April 4,2007.Well known music director Mr.Balabhaskar inaugurated the  festival. The Arts fest included various off-stage and on-stage events such as recitation, debate, essay-writing, light music, classical dance, folkdance, mime, drama . Mr. T K Jalaluddin Musaliar, Treasurer TKM Trust, distributed the trophies, medals and certificates for the winners and runners up for the various events. Principal TKMIT attended the function & distributed the prizes for best and highest academic performance students of various branches.

Haritha Keralam

As the part of Haritha Keralam project proposed by the Government of Kerala the following activities were conducted by various Departments of TKMIT.

Cleaning of department block and its surroundings.

Planting of sapling.

Orientation program regarding the significance of solid waste disposal and plantation of trees was organized.

Seminar presentation for general public on the subject ‘Rain water harvesting’

Seminar on awareness of E-Waste management presented by 8^th semester student Haritha. V. R in Malayalam. All the staff members and students participated forth.
