Association of Cyber Experts(ACE) : The Computer Association, known as ACE (Association of Cyber Experts) of the department provides a high level of interaction between students and faculties. The association kick started its activities from 2006 onward by a technical fest –Memphis ’06. Association has released a fortnightly magazine ‘Smart Talk’ which concentrates on the latest development in the computer world. The association conducts various seminars, workshops, paper presentations and guest talks.
Association for Computing Machinery (ACM): ACM is a global scientific and educational organization dedicated to advancing the art,science, engineering, and application of computing, serving both professional and public interests by fostering the open exchange of information and by promoting the highest professional and ethical standards. The department of Computer Science and Engineering started a student chapter in May 2022.
The Institution of Engineers India (IEI): The Institution of Engineers (India), the IEI, is a national organization for engineers in India. It is the world’s largest multi-disciplinary engineering professional society. The institution was established in 1920 in Kolkata, West Bengal, and was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1935. The department of Computer Science and Engineering started a student chapter in December 2023.
Computer Society of India (CSI): The Computer Society of India (CSI) is the leading professional organization for IT professionals in India, established in 1965. With over 100,000 members across various chapters, CSI plays a pivotal role in promoting the growth of the IT industry in India. Its members include software developers, IT managers, researchers, students, and educators, making it a diverse and inclusive community. CSI focuses on knowledge sharing, networking, and professional development through conferences, seminars, workshops, and publications. It also engages in research and development activities and has a strong focus on student engagement, providing them with opportunities to connect with industry experts, participate in competitions, and gain exposure to the latest trends and technologies. The institute has started its CSI Students Chapter on March 6, 2024.
