About
The Industry Connect Department of TKMIT serves as a bridge between academia and industry. Our aim is to prepare students for the professional world by giving them real exposure to industry practices, technologies and work culture.
Through partnerships with leading companies, organisations and professionals, the department creates opportunities for students and faculty to learn beyond the classroom. From industrial visits and internships to skill training and expert talks, we help students build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for successful careers.

What We Do
Industrial Visits
We organise visits to reputed industries so students can observe production processes, technologies and workplace practices first-hand, connecting classroom concepts with real applications.
Internships
We help students secure internships with companies and organisations, giving them valuable work experience, professional contacts and a clearer view of their career paths.
Skill Training
We conduct training programmes in technical skills, software tools, communication and soft skills to make students industry-ready and improve their placement opportunities.
Expert Talks
Industry professionals and subject experts are invited to share their knowledge and experience, keeping students informed about current trends, technologies and career opportunities.
Faculty Training
We arrange faculty development programmes and industry training so that our teachers stay updated with the latest developments and bring that knowledge into the classroom.
Project Evaluations
Industry experts take part in reviewing and evaluating student projects, offering practical feedback and helping students align their work with real industry needs.
MoU Signing with Industries and Institutes
We sign Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with reputed industries and academic institutes to build long-term partnerships. These collaborations open doors to internships, training programmes, joint projects, research opportunities, expert sessions and placement support for our students and faculty.
Innovative Project Lab Facilities
Our project lab gives students the space, equipment and guidance to design, build and test innovative ideas, encouraging creativity, research and entrepreneurship.
